Mentorship is an ongoing process when developing leaders within an organization.  I have developed direct reports one on one for over 25 years, preparing them for new opportunities, helping with projects and giving career advice. I also have sustained long-term relationships from previous jobs where I served as a mentor to former employees to discuss various manufacturing and career related topics. In Albuquerque New Mexico I served on the board of directors for Quality New Mexico, an organization who provided public and custom training, coaching, mentoring and facilitation for the states quality excellence awards.

Whom would you like to mentor?

  • Manufacturing leaders/executives.

  • Individual contributors looking to advance into leadership roles.

Please share a little bit about yourself:

An Indiana Hoosier at heart, I found my path in manufacturing amidst the innovative halls of Purdue University's Industrial Technology program. Leaving Indiana for Chicago, I embarked on a 30-year journey with leadership roles in various manufacturing industries. Upon relocating to Albuquerque, I continued working in manufacturing and spent 3 years sharing my expertise by guiding businesses in operations excellence as board member for Quality New Mexico, a state funded coaching and mentoring organization. I also spent several years coaching youth football and volunteering with an organization serving as a resource for the senior community.

After relocating to Kansas City for a couple years, I found myself back in Indiana residing in Indianapolis where I spent several years as an entrepreneur but found myself navigating back into the manufacturing sector. Married for 29 years, I navigate life's adventures with my wife and our five amazing adult children while enjoying our first grandchild. I also spend time volunteering for a men’s homeless shelter, and I also belong to a national social club that fundraises and donates time to children’s charitable organizations. If I can squeeze in some free time, you can find me on the nearest golf course.
